Apex Med Mobility — Safety & Liability Policy

Medical Restrictions

We do not transport individuals who are:
 
  • Unconscious or unresponsive
  • Experiencing active medical distress
  • Requiring oxygen tanks outside standard portable systems
  • Violent, aggressive, or posing a safety risk
  • Bed-bound or requiring stretcher/gurney transport

Driver Limitations

Drivers may assist, but cannot:

  • Lift, carry, or physically transfer passengers
  • Provide medical treatment
  • Administer medication
  • Enter private residences unless safe and accessible

Wheelchair and Equipment Requirements

Passenger mobility equipment must be:

  • Safe

  • Functional

  • Able to be secured properly

 

The Company is not responsible for injuries or incidents resulting from unsafe or damaged mobility equipment.

Liability Release

Passengers assume responsibility for:​​

  • Personal mobility limitations

  • Equipment malfunction

  • Medical conditions during transport

  • Behavior affecting safety]​

Apex Med Mobility’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by Texas law.
